Corinthians get back on track with 5-1 win

Nilmar brilha, Timão goleia e divide show com Tricolor
MOGI MIRIM 1 x 5 CORINTHIANS

O Timão venceu o Mogi Mirim por 5 a 1 e chegou a 18 pontos, dois a menos do que o São Paulo e quatro a menos do que o líder Noroeste. Nilmar marcou quatro gols e continua isolado na artilharia com um total de 11.

Corinthians beat Mogi Mirim 5-1 and now have 18 points, two less than São Paulo and four less than the championship leader Noroeste. Nilmar scored four goals and remains the leading scorer with 11 goals.

More on Nilmar:

He's a really skillful little striker who moved back to Brazil after an unsuccessful time at Lyon. Alongside Tevez he's really starting to show the promise that took him to Europe in the first place. I bet Chelsea are keeping a close eye on him. They were close to signing him before he moved to Lyon and their connections with MSI surely mean they'll get a first option on him.
