Good news for England - Alan Smith will miss the World Cup

Looks like Alan Smith will miss the World Cup after suffering what can only be described as a grusome injury, a broken leg and dislocated ankle (did he almost lose a foot then!? ouch!).

As much as I dislike Smith as a player this is a pretty nasty injury so I hope he makes a full recovery.
