Arsenal team news for Real Madrid game

There's no denying that Arsenal's injury crisis shows no sign of easing. No players will return for the Real Madrid game on Tuesday with the exception of Reyes who has a 'slim' chance. The real worry for me is the continued presence of Flamini at left-back, he'll be badly exposed against Real's pace and skill.

Adding to our problems is the fact that Adebayor is cup-tied. Surely Diaby needs to come back into the middle to add some grit.

The full injury list: Robin van Persie (toe), Dennis Bergkamp (calf), Gael Clichy (foot) , Sol Campbell (ankle), Ashley Cole (thigh), Pascal Cygan (hamstring), Lauren (knee) and Kerrea Gilbert (back).

My bet for the starting XI:

Fabregas, Gilberto, Diaby, Pires
Ljungberg
Henry

Arsenal will need to see Diaby, Fabregas and Ljungberg making good forward runs but without leaving the dangerously lopsided rear guard exposed.
