Bendtner scores on full Denmark debut

Arsenal.com : Bendtner scores on full Denmark debut

It was a pretty good week for Arsenal players involved in International matches. Young Nicklas Bendtner continued to improve his reputation with a goal in his senior debut. The last Danish player to score in his debut at the tender age of 18 was one Michael Laudrup! It's starting to appear that Bendtner could well be another Wenger treasure. It's still early days for the lad but he's one to watch for Arsenal fans.

Also impressing this week was another Arsenal youngster Theo Walcott. Scoring in his England U-21 debut. It was pleasing to see him score with a header, that's not a skill he's known for.

Two other Arsenal players got goals this week. Alex Hleb scored the opener in a 3-0 win for Belarus against the mighty Andorra A! More notably Van Persie got the final goal in Holland's 4-0 rout of Ireland.

Of course all eyes now turn to this weekend and the start of the Premier League campaign:
