Lehmann has been selected on the shortlist of goalkeepers and Henry on the shortlist of attackers. The Arsenal player who made the shortlist of defenders is a shocker though:

"Emmanuel Eboue, a revelation at right back for Arsène Wenger’s side, must see off Real Madrid’s summer signing Fabio Cannavaro and Barcelona’s Carles Puyol to land the UEFA Club Defender of the Year award."

I mean I like Eboue and all but is he better than Toure!? I don't think so! Also what about Fabregas!? He was amazing in the Champions League this last season. One of the most consistent 18 year olds ever.

Oh well I never have been much of a fan of award ceremonies.
