After struggling along in last place in the Brasilian Championship Corinthians have replace coach Geninho with Emerson Leão. Upon his arrival a lot of the attention focussed on the Argeninians at the club but Leão was quick to state his view on the matter:

"I am the coach of Corinthians, not just the three Argentinians that are in the team."

It looks like his arrival could mark the beginning of a turn around for Corinthans. In Leão's first game Corinthians have beaten Fluminense 2-1. Playing with a wild 3-6-1 formation!
