Marcelinho Carioca is back at Corinthians

O 'Pe do Anjo' esta de volta ao Corinthans depois do 5 anos fora do clube.

“A alegria é muito grande por voltar para cá. Nunca me senti fora daqui”, disse Marcelinho, que prometeu não causar polêmica no elenco e nem com seu antigo desafeto Ricardinho. “Sou funcionário do clube e venho para ajudar”, afirmou o Pé-de-Anjo.

Mas como sempre o Marcelinho Carioca traga polemica.

He's signed a deal that will see him stay at the Parque Sao Jorge until December 2007. Neither the falling out with Ricardinho (another ex-Corintiano who's returned this year) or Roger wearing the #7 shirt seem to have stopped this deal.

The question remains though, where will he play? Corinthians have Ricardinho, Mascherano, Roger, Carlos Alberto, Marcelo Mattos to name a few of their midfielders. Surely Marcelinho is coming in to add some experience, he has an aura about him that's for sure! He's also a god of free kicks. Well it'll certainly be interesting to see how Corinthians got on in the Libertadores this year now they've added a ton of creativity to their midfield. Tevez and Nilmar should get plenty of service.
