Arsenal Prospect - Philippe Senderos

You can't really call Senderos a prospect anymore. It's amazing to think that Philippe Senderos has only just turned 21 but has already played nearly 50 senior games for Arsenal. He's not the finished article yet but all the pieces are in place for Philippe to replace Sol Campbell in the Arsenal defense. Senderos is a meat and veg centerback, he's good defensively but not so good going forward. That's what you need though and it makes him a good foil for the energetic Kolo Toure.

Senderos is prone to one major fluff up per game but it's something he can work out of his game. His performance against Real Madrid was pretty solid, he looked quite comfortable shepherding Ronaldo. If he adds a little more steel to his strength he should become an Arsenal great.
