Arsenal dominated possetion in both halves and made the possetion count with 2 goals in 1 minute around the 60th minute. First Van Persie laid on a lovely pass for Fabregas to score the opener. Then Hleb played a lovely long ball to Van Persie who hit a tricky shot past the keeper. Then later on Hleb again became provider laying on a pass to Fabregas who dribbled past a few players and scored with a lovely directed shot. Substitute Flamini could have made it 4 after Hleb laid on a lovely through ball but the keeper did well to save his shot.

Overall Arsenal looked a little short of full fitness, Toure looked only 70% of his usual self. Rosicky also looked rather short physically. Aside from that though there were a number of standout performances. Hleb looked an increasingly influencial player through out the game. A number of times he reminded me of Bergkamp with his eye for a sweet through ball. Djourou also looked pretty steady. He made a few mistakes but he covered back brilliantly each time. Hoyte looked decent at left-back but going forward he's rather limited since his almost entirely right footed.

The biggest question of the night though has to be is Reyes off to Real? He was almost a dead cert to start but then is left on the bench and doesn't come on. Earlier today I didn't think he was leaving but now I'm not so sure. If we can sell Cole for £25m and Reyes for £15m then we'll have to buy 2 if not 3 class players to strengthen the squad.
