Fabregas & Henry finish off Liverpool with the help of Steven Gerrard
There were a few things that came out of Arsenal's 2-1 win over Liverpool. Firstly the fact that Henry is truely irreplaceable, his goals today were only half of the story, his movement and footballing brain were on display too. Secondly the development of Cesc Fabregas

What about Liverpool then? What are they doing with so many duff strikers in their squad? I've never rated Morientes, Crouch has always been a tall player who can't play. Cisse is a fast player who can't control the ball. Fowler is a world class striker who's past his best. Liverpool need to find a couple of world class strikers for next season, of course they'll also need to work out what to do with their current crop of forwards.
On another note I found it very ironic that in a week when Arsenal have been critisized for not playing English players two of England's best players have been unable to been the Gunners. Beckham looked lame for Real and Gerrard provided a wonderful assist for Thierry Henry (pressure from Fabregas set this one up) to score the winning goal against Liverpool. Do we need to look any further to see why Wenger hasn't splashed out on English players? Overrated and subsequently overpriced. Wenger will have English players in the team but they'll come from within the youth setup.
Arsenal 2 - 1 Liverpool - 4th spot could now be within Arsenal's reach if not this year's Champions League.
