Ok so let's recap... England play duff fall behind but the opposition give up early and England win. This is becoming a recurring theme for England. That tactic is fine in friendlies but when competition time rolls around teams tend to be a little more focussed.

Also was it just me or did Rio look totally useless? He's totally clueless sometimes. Reminds me of what I thought when I saw him on A Question of Sport a few years ago, he was shockingly dumb. I think Sven ought to pick Ledley King to partner John Terry.

Up front why was Sven experimenting with Darren Bent? The kid is good but calling him up this close to the World Cup is crazy. Why not give Defoe a chance to show his worth.

Basically England's WC chances rely on the skills of Rooney. As soon as he's injured England are finished.
