Owen and Out!

My fear for England right from the start of this World Cup has been the fitness not of Rooney but of Michael Owen. My fears were realised within 2 minutes of the start of the Sweden game when Owen's right knee collapsed leaving the player in agony. He's going to be out of the rest of the competition for sure. This injury is typical for a player who's suffered other injuries this season and has only played 6 hours of football this year. Let's hope Rooney really is fit and that Walcott is as good as Sven hopes he is... That's a lot of hoping!!
